One of my favorite things to do during my lunch hour is to watch an In the Frow video. More specifically one of her vlogs. I LOVE her disposition on life! I by no means want to do what she does, I couldn’t keep up with a lifestyle like that!! I love that she has her “human” moments though. She’s not always happy and sunshine, she has her moment, but then she picks up and keeps moving! That’s what I take away from her! And some beauty tips and fashion trends too!
Today is the first day that is feels truly like winter with a blanket of pretty white snow on the ground, and while I already miss the 80 degree weather, it makes it feel like I live in a snow globe. Michigan is such a pretty place to live, and I love that our scenery changes 4 times a year! I just have all of the warm fuzzies thinking about the changing seasons outside.
It always inspires me to get out and make the most of each season when we start into a new one. This weekend Brian is headed north, while I stay home and indulge in my favorite family tradition of making Christmas cookies from scratch with my mom, niece, and grandma.
Having each day start as a fresh beginning is something I have been working on. This has been the hardest year of my life, but I really do feel it has helped me to not take things for granted.
The past couple of months I have been focusing on trying to eat an 80/20 Paleo diet. In short- no carbs, no dairy, no sugars. There is MUCH more to it than that, but that is how I have been eating. I want to get my body into shape so I can DO more things. I am going to focus on eating right through out the winter and some home work outs, as I am still healing from surgeries, and I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize how far I’ve come and how well my healing is coming along. Baby steps is a great way to start, and just with this new diet, scratch that, lifestyle change, my body has felt better from the inside out!
I am hoping the better I feel, the more I will be up for new adventures! I have to figure out how to get over my fear of getting hurt. So cross your fingers with me, I am going to try to make 2018 a year of firsts, and I hope to take you along with me, here, and on my youtube channel, and my social medias!
Happy December 8th 🙂
